This kitchen in a barn conversion in Cornwall features the largest natural stone worktop Treyone has ever installed, weighing 320kg.

Part of our brief was to design the kitchen to take advantage of the elevated views. Our customer wanted their kitchen to be uncluttered but practical and to enhance the cooking experience.

The tall cabinets integrate an eye-level Wolf oven with a warming drawer underneath. A Miele venting induction hob sits opposite as part of the central island unit. The wall ( open base dresser) cabinets contain a host of storage, and to either side, there is a preparation area and storage for a Thermomix and Coffee Station.

To complement the natural Botanic green quartzite island top and tie in the oak floors and original features of the barn conversion, we created a slatted oak end panel for the island unit using slatted oak. The cabinetry colour is Farrow and Ball Studio Green.
